ORIGIN
He is a member of MOFA who lives a simple lifestyle with his wife and two children. The main livelihood of Jayathilaka and his family is evolved around coconut farming. Visiting his plantation with his wife in every morning is his usual habit.
Located in a beautiful hamlet called Nakkala, Jayathilaka has two coconut plantations; one is bounded by Kumbukkan Oya.
The spiral arrangement of the coconut branches make canopies to give shade and coolness to his plantation. Jayathilaka has become an expert with years of experience and he can easily identify the properly matured coconuts. Fallen downwards coconuts are considered as the well matured according to Jayathilaka and they are harvested using long bamboo poles. The harvested coconuts are then collected by an officer of MOFA.

Exporting products manufactured by harvested coconuts from their plantations to the international market significantly uplift their income as they receive a better value to their crops.
MOFA sends the collected coconuts to Waguruwela Oil Mills (Pvt) Ltd and process in to various organic coconut products at Waguruwela Oil Mills. With the skilled and expertise people, coconuts are processed using modern technology to manufacture under rigid hygienic conditions. A stringent quality assurance system is followed to ensure the quality of products as well.
We value our farmers the most and consider them as our lifeblood. We serve our agricultural community by providing many facilities such as technological support, modern agricultural practices, and consulting services. Moreover, we conduct welfare programs such as training programs, health camps and children’s educational programs to increase their efficiency and effectiveness too.

ORGANIC VIRGIN COCONUT OIL
Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is produced by cold pressed technology without exceeding 60 ⁰C of temperature throughout the process to preserve its nutritional value. Hot air dried, scraped white coconut meat is mechanically pressed and the extraction is filtered through pressurized plate filters without chemical refining.

ORGANIC COCONUT MILK & CREAM
Organic white coconut meat scraped and expelled to extract coconut milk and cream, then blend with water considering customer preferences. Medium to light fat and medium to high fat content, subsequently categorize as coconut milk and cream respectively. The only slight difference between coconut milk and cream is the fat percentage.

ORGANIC COCONUT Flour
Organic Coconut Flour is produced after the oil is extracted from the white kernel meat. After the extraction process the white kernel meat turns into an oil cake. Then the oil cake is subjected to a subsequent cooling and grinding process which gives coconut flour.
