Organic Mango

ORIGIN

He faced many challenges at the beginning of his marriage life without a stable income, however they lived a simple life by caring and sharing with each other. Due to the good relationship with the village temple, the main Thero has given some lands from the temple premises to Abeydasa to start his farming.
At Ceylbee, fresh mangoes are washed and selected mangoes are sent for peeling, cutting and dehydrating process. Sorting, inspecting and packing is done in to pouches upon customer requests. These manufacturing practices are done in a safe environment to ensure the quality of the product.
Abeydasa is a mango farmer, whose farm is located in Hindikiwula. His family is very traditional and he lives with his wife and children. His wife is a very supportive woman who gives a helping hand to his cultivations. He is originally not from Monaragala, as he has established there after marriage.
He has started farming with the help of his family and he never forgets to share a portion of his income with the temple. He has expanded the farm with time and has registered with MOFA. Now he supplies his mangoes harvest to MOFA which is then send to our factory.

However, he has never forgotten the temple and the fellow villagers who helped him in difficult times to come to this state. Now he helps them back in times of needs as well.

Organic Banana

ORIGIN

Their ancestors first did the cultivation with seasonal crops and their livelihood depended on farming, then later Piyalath continued the banana cultivation as main crops.
One of the major issues Piyalath had to face were monkey and squirrel attacks to the plantation. So, he blocked the paths to prevent these animals from entering, by trimming the branches around his farm to make the harmless blockade. So, the plantation and the animals were both safe.
Fresh selected bananas are washed, peeled, cut, and dehydrated at Ceylbee. Then assembled according to the customer requirement in proper hygienic conditions while providing good working environment for the working people by looking after their safety.
A fresh Banana farm which is located in Nakkala is owned by a farmer named Piyalath. He spends a simple life with his wife and two daughters and his main ambition is to provide good education to his children, paving a path to a bright future.

Organic Jackfruit

He spends his life by sharing and caring for his villagers. He also has a 40-50 years old jack fruit tree in his jack garden which gives a good harvest in the season.
Then the MOFA officers will send the harvest of Chinthaka to Ceylbee. And at Ceylbee, the core of the jackfruits are removed, cleaned, and cut into pieces. Then they are dried evenly and packed by the workers who follow good manufacturing conditions and adhere to quality requirements with good safety conditions. .
Farmer Chinthaka is a kind hearted and very social person who has his Jackfruit plantation located in Maduruketiya. He also loves to live with the nature so he goes to the farm with his wife and daughter to take care of the farm.
Jackfruits are harvested when the color of the fruit starts to turn yellowish from green color and by using a sharp knife for the processing to separate the fruits. Then Chinthaka’s harvest is given to the MOFA officers and sometimes the officers are treated with his fresh ripe jackfruits.

Organic Pineapple

He has arranged an attractive garden in one corner of his land and has rented it to the photographers to gain extra income through it. Pineapple rows which are fruitful in between flower plants, adds color to his garden. Sarath does gardening as a hobby while involving in Pineapple cultivation as a fulltime farmer.
After receiving the yield from Sarath the MOFA officers then send it to Ceylbee. The received fresh pineapples are washed, selected, peeled and the cores are removed, sliced, cut into chunks, dehydrated, sorted, inspected & packed according to the customer requirements. Those steps are done under proper hygienic conditions while caring for the workers’ safety by providing good working environment for them.
Farmer Sarath Kumara of MOFA whose pineapple farm is located in Medagama. And he has a joyable family with 3 children. His elder son helps with the cultivation because farming is the only source of income to their family. Sarath’s farm is an attractive paradise full of fruits and the main fruit he cultivates is pineapple.
Sarath uses compost prepared by himself as a fertilizer to his cultivation by following beneficiary farming practices for the environment. He harvests yellow green pineapple using a sharp knife with good safety practices and then give the yield to the MOFA Officers.
